Let us introduce ourselves: Jan and Helen from ‘The Living Room’.

Jan and I are sisters who have always had a great interest in beautiful and creative home furnishings and some while ago decided to set up our own business.

Jan has had a number of years experience in interior design work. Her skills have been used in a wide range of areas, including many show homes where she acted as a Design Consultant and Project Manager. Jan worked for one of Auckland’s largest curtain and soft-furnishing companies where she gained a great deal of experience in the industry.

I have had many years working with soft furnishings,curtain manufacture and design and have had a long involvement in the curtain industry managing large showrooms, overseeing manufacturing workrooms and advising clients on ideas for their homes.

Together our combined experience and expertise means that we can provide you with a very personal and totally professional approach to home décor and interior design ideas.   Above this, we have access to the very best in fabrics and textiles, furniture, accessories and top class manufacturers.
